Improper dieting or unbalanced
diet leads to health complications. Crash dieting or eating only fewer calories
than what we require leads to the state of starvation. This alters the
metabolic rate and burns only few calories, this sets up a rapid increase in
weight once if we start eating normally. Prolonged period of starving leads to
breakdown in the muscle, which exerts overload to the kidney and sometimes
leads to the kidney problem.
Crash dieting leads to rapid
weight loss but the weight loss is mainly due to the alteration in the water
content of the body. Once if we establish the normal eating behavior, there is
a sudden increase in the weight.
Anorexia is eating disorder
commonly found in female where they restrict self eating. This is a dangerous
way of losing weight leads to loss of appetite, easy tiredness and
depression. Even this causes nutritional
deficiencies like anemia, osteoporosis etc.
Another important way of losing
weight is through using medicines and surgery which is considered as unsafe.
These should be done under the guidance of well experienced physician otherwise
it may be fatal.
